Ensemble East is a Norwich-based chamber orchestra,.

Founded in 2018 it comprises of 34 talented musicians from across Norfolk & Suffolk, specialises in smaller scale works from the 18th century to the present day. Focusing on intensity, energy and intimacy, the orchestra produces dynamic and vital performances that are exhilarating for audiences and players alike.  

Philip Hesketh, a critically acclaimed international conductor.

Experienced in Ballet and Opera as well as a vast range of Orchestral repertoire. Philip is very keen to break down the traditional barriers between performers and audiences.
